I get lots of critter problems where I am.. My Asian Pear, Sekel, and D'Anjou were all stripped bare nearly a month ago... clearly not even close to ripe... Then there's been the rape and pillaging of my pluots and nectarines.. There was (non-functional) electric fencing surrounding the orchard when I moved here.. Some years are not so bad, but this year was the worst... And those Asian pears make the most divine sauce too Sad

Iris have overtaken my vegetable bed.. I'm relying on neighborhood family farms for fresh produce. I *do* have 2 tomato plants Green Grin!
The surest sign that intelligent life exists elsewhere in the universe is that it has never tried to contact us.
