Ok I have a few mins free so I thought I'd post what I got from Wilds when I ordered from them. I placed my order on July 19th and received it in just a few days. I was surprised they shipped it right away because the heat index has been nearly 100 here for those few days. So I was worried about the plants. I got a tracking number for shipping as well (nice plus) and the packaging was awesome. I was impressed with how nice the plants arrived. The bareroot dl I was really pleased with. I ordered Wrapped in Moonlight thinking for some reason it was not potted. (brain fart I guess) I would not have ordered it if I had known it was potted but the website did not say that it was anywhere I could find. (I checked that out thoroughly after I got the plants and emailed them about that-did not get a reply back about that) I was concerned that my plant could be a TC but Heidi has assured me, at least for their introductions. Greg Jones told me via email that they do not sell any TC plants. I ordered two potted hosta "whee" and they were tiny as well, however, they do look nice and are true name. (actually I only ordered one, the other was a BOGO offer). Here is pics of the potted one, the dry root one. I used a coke to have some thing to compare size to.
I don't care if they sell TC, potted, bare root or snake skin boots-- I just feel they should be clear on their website to advertise each as what it is so people know what they are buying. I seen later in the printed fall flier, that Wrapped in Moonlight is potted, but I used the website to order and it did not say that on there. That was disappointing.
Here is a pic of Wrapped in Moonlight taken by me at the Springfield Botanical Center daylily display bed this summer.
