Great idea but what to do with a 15 month old 95 lb "puppy" ... he has trampled and totally destroyed so many shrubs and plants. I spent weeks digging out three long rows of shrubbery because he'd literally run through and over them trying to catch lizards. He sat on some and broke many branches. They looked so terrible within a few weeks of him being a member of the family and I love him more than I did the particular shrubs. After removing the shrubbery I lined the side of the house with container plants and he still runs around them trying to get the lizards. Smaller containers he still knocks over and I find myself cleaning up the mulch and soil that ends up on the sidewalk but the larger, heavier plants he can't budge. Smiling I've got one large bed that he still tramples and runs through if he gets a chance so I've been thinking of some sort of barrier around that area but tomato cages won't work ... he thinks they are something for him to yank up and play with. Green Grin!
