It is most differently a hybrid Aloe. But mixed with what? Very well could be and properly is a Gasteria. Most Gasteria is on the small side. Aloe genes give it some size. All Aloe, Gasteria and Haworthia are all in the same subfamily Asphodeloideae and can interbreed. I don't know how they name them. Maybe the pod parent taking the credit. Pollen parent not mentioned. Just my best guess.
Oh and can we see a picture? I just bought one at Wal-Marts for $4 called Aloe 'Pink'. Looks like Aloe 'Christmass Tree'. And it has many many babies. Sorry I didn't didn't follow my own advise and show a picture of it. Soon if any body wants it.
