Lin, (& everyone else), ditch the wasp spray. A fellow ATP member told me about a non toxic wasp spray. I have road tested it & it WORKS! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!

A little dishwashing liquid, alcohol & water, mix it all together. What I did to get nests under the eves where you can't really reach with a spray bottle unless you get a ladder; is put the mix in a pump garden sprayer, adjust the nozzle so you get a nice spray that reaches far enough & go to town. Knocks them right down! Lately we've been getting wasps building nests in the van. They go up under where the side doors slide or where the back door lifts up & build nests in there. Well, I don't want to be spraying soap in the car (b/c you have to open the door to be able to get to them) so I just used plain, straight alcohol. Works a treat!
I am a strong believer in the simple fact is that what matters in this life is how we treat others. I think that's what living is all about. Not what I've done in my life but how I've treated others. ~~ Sharon Brown
