Do you use anything - like garden staples - to fasten the edges of the cardboard down, or is the soil/mulch enough ? (I'm wondering whether mowing around the edges is a problem.)
Nan, that's a great idea about potting things for a new planting area so you can rearrange until you're happy with it -- lots easier than digging stuff back up and moving it around!!
