Funny how we think the scent will linger but it doesn't work. It gets downright depressing.
I've been doing well by using trellises as blockades but there are far too many ways for the deer to get to the plants and I don't want the armed prison look either. The squirrels don't really bother me since they mainly just bury their nuts and forget about them. Rabbits do much more damage eating the lily leaves. Blood meal works best here against the rabbits.
