'So Sweet', "Guacamole', "Francee', 'Undulata Albomarginata' and 'Queen Josephine' have all done well for me this year in zone 8b. I noticed the other day that 'So Sweet' was getting quite a bit of direct late morning light and it has really held up well and put on lots of new leaves.
In the larger hostas 'Winter Snow' (sort of odd name to do well in Alabama) and 'Sum and Substance' have done good this year though the summer so far also.
