Hi folks.

I am in Virginia, probably 7a but maybe 7b. I am looking to acquire and try to grow outside some white ginger lily, I believe the one I want is Tai Monarch. I've read at least one comment elsewhere that a fellow overwintered it somewhere in NY -- that heavy mulch protecting the rhizomes is a key.

I know it can flourish in coastal North Carolina because I worked with it there -- and anyway I am prepared to risk it because I love the plant so. Not set up to do much inside at this point.

If any of you know where I might get a rhizome or two of Tai Monarch I'd sure appreciate the heads up. I looked online and thought I'd found a source in NC but then their website failed to yield anything.

Clues? Directions? Hand-holding? Green Grin!

And, thanks in advance.
