Kyla, it's surely a bit late in the season to be thinking of starting a ginger where you are. No way you'll get any flowers before the first cold nights put an end to things. All of mine are 5ft. tall and blooming right now. I would think in springtime - late March for me - some of us would have divisions for you if you'd like to pay postage.

But I found H.coronarium and also H. Tai Savannah at Plant Delights nursery in NC. They're both very similar to Tai Monarch I think. You should also take a look at the other gingers on their page, they will knock your socks off.
