Lyndon Lyon Greenhouse describes it as deep red, Semi-double fluted and wavy. I bought mine from the Violet Barn who no longer carry it but are one of the biggest hybridizers of violets. If you go to images at both Google and Yahoo, the violet they show is not similar to yours. I gave yours a thumbs up because it is a well grown, fully blooming, violet. Not because I think it represents Powder Keg.
