Here are the pictures from yesterday. Not much to see except that there is now a large expanse of floor that is all the same level, that's the goal.

They are pounding away up there but I haven't been up today. I was told that they are moving the gas tank today and I decided to stay away from it. I tend to stay well out of range when they fill the tank too, I'm not a big fan of butane/propane. It's cheap and it works and as long as the tank is outside I think it is pretty safe, I just don't trust it.

Here are some extra pictures that I took a couple days ago. This is the bamboo extension to the wall in our back garden. We call it the 'great wall of Tita' because our cat could climb the rock wall and escape so we had this put in and now she can't get out. It turned out to be a good thing all around, it is much more private now, it doesn't stop the breeze, and it would be pretty darn hard to jump into our yard. So, if the dogs appear to be able to get up on the roof wall, I would be inclined to put something like this up there. Not as tall, maybe half as high. The back one is over a meter, about 4' tall, I think 2' would be enough on the roof.

Here are a couple pics of the albañiles (concrete workers) hauling sand into the house. The only way in or out of our property is through the front door, not always a plus. I've noticed that they always kick off their shoes (flip flops) when they are carrying something heavy, better balance I guess.

A day without sunshine is like, you know, night.
