I am bird sitting for my son in law's Mother's cockatiel, Rocky, for two weeks. She is going to Maine to visit her daughter, so good ole Rocky stays here. He is the only other bird I have ever left in my aviary...I knew his breeder and I know how she takes care of him so I am sure he is o.k. also, he never get to be near other birds. I guess I sound nasty, but you can easily carry diseases from one bird to another and with birds, you seldom know they are sick until they are too far gone to cure most times. Rocky is a talker and a whistler. It is driving Charle crazy. He is used to Gunny's voice, not this one is different. He keeps going to the bird room and looking to see who is there.
