Deb, I like your suggestion. I'll give it a try. I honestly had no idea the fronds flopped over as they do or I would not have planted them where I did. If I had a large enough area as flaflwgrl, I wouldn't have any qualms. They are beautiful and hummers love them. They bloom here in early July just as the hummers arrive.
