A moment of delight today. I was shearing some grass seedheads next to one area of the sunny bed, because if they just get mowed guess where they'll all go?
As I was doing this, I notice the little lavender plant which I had moved from the front earlier in the summer, because it was doing so poorly out there, has started to bloom!!!!!!!
Woot!
Of course, you can see it better in person. I fiddled with the color on this more than I like to, so it would show some of the glints of purple. There are buds all over that one stem.
