Stopped at one of my favorite nurseries this afternoon while DD was at volleyball. The section with Agastache and Caryopteris was a happening place, humming and buzzing with pollinator delight. Got a few photos.
1) Cultivar whose name I did not note, with Silver-spotted Skipper and bee
2) Caryopteris 'Dark Knight'--need to put this one on my wish list!
3) Agastache 'Kudos Silver Blue'--covered in bees going 'nom nom nom'!

Of course, the 'Kudos Silver Blue' had to come home with me. One of the bees clung eagerly to its bloom halfway to the cash register. Then, before I had even planted it, the bees were hopping on and sipping. I actually had to plant with caution due to the excited buzz around me! Quite an experience! :-D But here it is in its new spot next to the Coreopsis 'Red Satin.'
