Thanks Lenette, those are things I hadn't even thought of. I hybridize daylilies and of course they perform differently from brugs. We do test them for three or more years. Some want 5 years of testing. I like 2 to 3 depending on the plant.
So it isn't how lovely the bloom but rather how solid it's performance? I didn't realize the doubles could revert to singles. Does this ever happen with registered plants?
