I don't usually turn my tomato beds but thinking that since I have not (for once!) bough a zillion bulbs I need plant (bought none) that I might be able to have time and energy to turn the soil in the beds. Should be good for getting rid of diseases by burying the bad stuff. And the old straw sound be good for adding organic material into the soil.

Then in the spring I can put compost on the beds like I normally do.
