Heh, yes...I do consider the shade from the fence "dead shade". I was thinking the clematis would not mind that through the heat of the day...

I'll keep hoping it will come back to life.

In general how often should you give Epsom Salts?

If we had no holes in our leaves we would have no butterflies!
