Annie, I've never heard of a mini Comfry bet it is a lovely plant.
Kyla, I have seen the steppables and purchased a few but did not have much luck with the varieties I tried .
I've been waiting to post on this thread such a nice topic. Just been too busy to post much with all the house renovations and getting ready for the plant swap we are hosting next Saturday Sept 13th. Tree Mail me if you need any info on the swap.
So I have quite a few ground covers here's a list of most of them.
Lamium Silver Beacon
Lamium Yellow Archangel
Creeping Phlox
Vinca Major Variegated
Vinca Minor
Several different varieties of low growing sedums
Pussytoes
Creeping thyme
Creeping jenny both green and chartreuse
I just love my ground covers and think they are wonderful plant "but" I have been spending a good bit of time lately weeding them or cutting them back.
The Lamium's have spread so successfully that I spent a good bit of time removing them from the beds they were sharing with other plants, same issue with the Vinca Major.
There is wiregrass, wild strawberry and several other invaders creeping in and I will tell you that it is a pretty tedious job grooming your ground covers.
