For me the ants that farm the aphids are the Argentine or sugar ant. They can hurt the house plants.

But the ants I don't like is fireants. If my potted plants are sitting on the ground, they will move in. That can destroy the roots. Or be a major pain if I move the pots in the house or greenhouse over winter. I hate to use many chemicals as I have too many pets so the cinnamon may be the answer. Thanks...
