Ha! Around here, the Argentine ants have taken over everything. You don't even have to bring them in in pots, they come in on their own. My neighbor has thrown away two houseplants, so far, that had ant nests in them. Maybe it's the drought, but I've never seen them so bad. There are fire ants in our county, but so far, none here.
