Okay, my Facebook feed is filling up with people talking about the "Puss Caterpillar" (aka Flannel Moth) and warning people about them. I actually had a lady at the museum ask me yesterday if it was a Facebook hoax and I assured her they were real but that in seven years of raising caterpillars, I'd never seen one. Meanwhile, everyone is panicking. The article says they like oaks and elms. I have oaks all over my neighborhood (doesn't everyone in Tampa?) and we have both oaks and elms at MOSI.
