Wow that is awful, Lyn. Probably a lot of the animals are starving in the drought, so it's a bad situation all the way around. Wish I knew of a way to help you.
We've been putting t-posts next to our trees in an effort to keep deer damage down, but that's nothing compared to what you are dealing with. Hang in there.
