The survey performed when I bought the house showed both my fencelines were set anywhere from one to 2.5 feet inside the property lines. The west side has trees between my fence and the neighbor's and I can see why the previous owners elected to site it where they did. I had a crew move the east fence, but they didn't use what I would call proper measuring techniques (as in the foreman just eyeballed the line), and the street end of the fence is now about 10 inches inside the neighbor's property line. So far, no one has noticed, or at least they haven't called me on it. Am saving my coins in case it has to be moved again. Which would mean I would have to take out some plants, but that I will worry about if it happens. Hilarious!
It’s okay to not know all the answers.
