I grow this one outdoors year round since our winters are mild. One of those cold hardy types that gets lovely stressed colors and during late winter to early Spring, you just might be rewarded with its cluster of blooms.

The bloom cluster as it forms:

I have since divided the plant into a hanging basket and in smaller container with stem cuttings and both has flourished well too. I now understand how much sun it really wants. It can certainly take our triple digit heat here.
