A hybrid is when they breed two different plants. Sometimes the new plants will not make seeds; sometimes it will make seeds but they will be sterile; sometimes the plant will make good seeds but there is no way to know which 'parent' the seeds will be like. That's all I know about hybrids. But if your seeds are viable it should be interesting to see what develops.
