Sorry JB, I wish I knew of something that just goes in cat food but I don't know if there is such a thing.

With Cats but this was years ago, my vet always said 6 months is a good time to get them done. No one ever said to wait for a heat cycle. It seems to be different with dogs.

But not all vets advise waiting so each person has to decide for yourself and your dog what is best to do. And then think of all these rescue and adoption agencies. They get the dogs spayed as soon as possible. They have to get them done before pups leave for their new homes.
