Zuzu, if it makes you feel any better, the nice young lady at Palatine (Rachel?) told me that next year they are going to offer fewer roses, but much greater quantities of those. She said they were caught by surprise when Pickering announced they couldn't ship to the U.S. this year. They had hundreds of orders in the first few minutes! She said the website crashed, which I saw when I was ordering 6 minutes after they opened.
Yesterday I called and added more to my order, and believe it or not, Red Intuition is still available. She said they had made lots of it because of prior demand. She said since they only sell 2 year old roses, there is a 2 year delay after they notice a rose with super high demand which makes perfect sense.
The catalog next year will reflect the new plan of fewer selections, greater quantities.
My problem is deciding if I am better off planting in the fall or taking delivery in the spring and planting then. She seemed to think fall is better, so I changed mine to late November. I ordered several for people in my Rose Society, and they normally say spring planting only, but we've had too many extremes in the spring the last few years. With the fall fluctuations, I think I can control the growth somewhat by covering the plants with evergreen branches. That was Rachel's suggestion instead of mounding with dirt.

Debra--Love My House--LOVE your new tagline!!!!! Group hug
Remember that children, marriages, and flower gardens reflect the kind of care they get.
