I tried the fall planting.. failed miserably as I lost almost everyone. Did the spring planting this year, lost only 1, so not bad. but where I planted I really super neglected.. I had planted, and then we were gonna move & I just let the back yard go to hell.. now trying to get it back under control... ugh. Be planting more shrubs I think next year than roses.
