) but cleome are supposed to like hot weather. The Sparkler series aren't as tall as others and seem to tail off quite quickly at the end of the season, I don't know if they'd keep going longer further south. People more often ask me what these are than just about anything - this is not the best picture because I was trying to take it into the early morning sun which was making them literally look sparkly but it didn't really work.
