Yes, we have a second growing season here. Tomatoes and peppers can be set out in early August (with a little shade for a few days). I have mixed results with tomatoes. Some yrs good...some yrs, I think I just neglect them too much. Too many other plants to take care of and little room for anything else.
Good to have you popping in. I'll be watching your forum when the temp drops and I have to figure out what to do with that fire pit full of succulents!
