I am also inspired by your lovely clean greenhouse, Ursula. My pool guy power-washed my whole cage, including the patio last year about this time. I corralled him yesterday and he is going to set up a date to do it again. So, I am gearing up to move all my orchids and other plants out, too. Luckily for me, he does most of the work and I just get to handle the delicate operations.

I'm quite sure it made a huge difference, both to my peace of mind and to the health of the orchids. The rain falling through that screening must carry all sorts of 'goodies' onto the plants, judging from the grime that collects on the glass table. Not to mention the 'chids get better light through the clean screen for the winter months.

This is an opportunity for me to create some more display space for the orchids as well. I really like how the metal trellis is working out for some of the small mounted orchids and might go and get another.
