Jim, I adopted the Physan spray this year from this thread, at least partially. I hope that will keep the green goo in check.

Elaine, I think it is a good thing to scrub out the growing area at least once a year. I do like Jim's way of doing it in segments, but that gets a bit tight for me here in Winter. I do wash out the trays in-between though.
