I live on the northeastern shores of Long Island. According to the map I am zone 7. I am about 6 blocks from the Long Island Sound. I can see Conn. from here.

Over the past 20 years, rose hybridizers around the world bred and selected roses for disease resistance. Since 2009, high-maintenance roses in the Rose Garden have been replaced with more than 3,500 new, hardy roses, chosen for disease resistance, long flowering time, and easy care.
