Becky, I have always left the grain on the ground for the bandicoots here. It is always gone in the morning. Now I look it up and find the marsupial bandicoot is insectivorous! So I think the rats have been laughing.

In feeding the wood ducks in the morning I have to ensure they have flown in first. I have just discovered the ibis is eating the seed. For a marsh bird they have sewer stomachs, the eat absolutely everything. I don't know why that long bill is needed. However, watching them strip meat off bones it is quite an amazing tool.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
