No desire for snow, as I would take lots of critters instead! I actually enjoy the wildlife. I would even enjoy the rats if they did not multiply so quickly. But there is a balance. I had a population explosion of rats a few years ago before I started using the tarp under my bird seed feeder. Next thing I know, there is a family of Bobcats in the undeveloped lots around my property. Rat problem solved. Though I still don't like the damage the rats do until a predator moves in. The Bobcats moved on after the food supply dwindled.
