We had that too, very hard frost for a couple of nights that took out the dahlia's, some of which were just getting ready to bloom, and either took out or made a lot of other things look terrible. The fall flowers are just starting, the asters, and the flowering Kale, and the Snapdragons, seem to hold on through some cold but most of my flowers look pretty bad. I've started cleanup and this year has been so difficult, because of many weather related things, it isn't nearly as sad for me to put my garden to bed as it is many years. I'm with Caroline, and thinking about next year. I've already started my list for things to do and start for next year. Big Grin
