I may be wrong but I use a rule that if a seed is inside a nice juicy berry then it must need cold, moist stratification.
So if that's true then winter sowing would be the way to go. Second choice would be a container of damp medium in the fridge for 2 - 3 months and them plant in the sprint. I'd hedge my bet and do both ways.

Sure is a pretty plant.
