I have two of them, Mardi Gras and Red Hot and the leaves are beautiful! I don't have good pictures of the foliage since they were new plants when I took the pictures. These guys are Hibiscus rosa-sinensis which are Tropical Hibiscus and not hardy. I have to keep mine in the greenhouse in Winter.

Are you familiar with Hibiscus acetosella, Haight Ashbury? It's a hardy hibiscus and has beautiful leaves too.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
