My pleasure.

I've mentioned this before, but perhaps it's worth mentioning again. (hopefully people haven't read it so many times they are getting tired of it Smiling )

Any iris registered in 2013 or before (back to when registration began in the 1920's) is almost certain to be in the database here are ATP. Some irises registered in 2014 are not in the database, for the simple reason that the American Iris Society hasn't released that information yet. All of the 2014 irises currently in the database were added by members. Dave will get the rest of them when AIS updates its registry, probably sometime next spring.

I can't say we have 100% of registered irises (not counting 2014 irises obviously) in the database because, once in a blue moon, someone find one that is inexplicably missing, But, I'm confident at least 99% are already here, probably 99.9%. We do have some duplicate entries, mostly related to some weirdness in how AIS handled the registry in 1930's, that are steadily being rooted out. There are also some unregistered varieties in the database. But, by definition, it's impossible to have a comprehensive list of those.

Anyway, to make a long story short, if you can't find an iris in the database (and it was registered prior to 2014) it's probably due to a spelling issue or a quirk with how the search engine works. The iris is almost certainly there, it's just a matter of understanding how to find it.
