Love me some hot peppers, and great article! I have been growing cayennes forever and never too happy with how mild they are. Tried just a generic habanero this year with not too many peppers on it sadly (only about 4 or so per plant, when the cayennes produced about 20+ per plant). Sadly I like to make a huge batch of hot sauce every year so this wasn't enough peppers to make more than a jar. I thought I'd go all out next year and grow some trinidad scorpion and ghost peppers, and also hopefully successfully over winter my habaneros what do you recommend for some happily spicy peppers that produce well the first year?
Have a black thumb except for vegetables and that's even a hit or miss
