They seem to keep the knats away as well as the ants.
I read someplace some people add it to their starting soil to keep the soil clean. I have no idea what that means....I have used it for ants mostly. It stops them since the odor takes their path scent away. Nothing to keep them from going around it. Who knows? I am not much help today am I? I promise a better answer next time I sit down. I must find where I read about the benefits. I am in the middle of some serious pot cleaning and putting things in the barn for the winter.
Plus i have had a dull headache for two days. Must be allergy time coming along. Yes, I took my Honey and cinnamon today.
