Scott Alexander of Mountain View Daylily Nursery at Maleny, Queensland, Australia has retired on the 30th anniversary of his nursery. He was an influential figure in Australian daylilies. This large nursery will continue, however.

Alexander registered five cultivars in 1993. One of which attracted much international attention: MALENY DEBUTANTE.

He has successfully bred many other interesting cultivars but has not registered them. These often can be found for sale.
The problem is that when you are young your life it is ruined by your parents. When you are older it is ruined by your children.
