I was pretty lucky that my mom had iris when I was a kid so I learned how to plant and divide. A out 10 yrs ago I got a computer (yeah, I know...& I only got a cell phone 5 yrs ago but I found all the various online sellers, garden sites with swap groups and co-op buying. I wanted everything and it all seemed so reasonably priced! I live in a townhome with a small flowerbed out front, a 10 ft run along the side of the building that I dug up and a concrete back patio. Eyes, mouse clicking fingers & budget bigger than my garden. Gave away alot, planted crowded beds & lost others to drying out in boxes.

I order carefully now. I try to under order because iris folks whether selling or gifting are generous with extras so I try to take that into consideration
