The neighbor is a city dweller who wants to be a farmer. He bought 10 chickens thinking he could get farm land assessment. Dumb jerk...anyhow, 7 of the first 10 were eaten by same fox and neighbor's loose dog. Now one hen hatched 10 eggs and he has 8 pullets and 2 hens left. All have been killed by one thing or another and he could care less. He is an real looser in my opinion. I have nothing nice to say about him except if it was up to me I would find a way to have him arrested for cruelty to animals. I just want those chicken safe and I have done everything, including feed them on his property all last winter because he did not. They are free range and he says there are plenty of things for them to eat. They eat all my dry cat food in the barn daily, and when the cat finishes her dish of wet food they actually wait for her to finish so they can clean the dish. Tell me those chickens are not hungry...I can not say on ATP what I am actually calling him or thinking.
