Well I decided to take a chance and plant my lycoris bulbs in my shade garden. They were in a pot which is one reason they probably didn't bloom this year but I also counted 45 bulbs in that small pot so it was very crowded. The area where they are planted now gets dappled sunlight so I'll see how that goes. I can't believe I started with just 7 bulbs 4 years ago.
