The only excuse I have is lazy Ken. If I water and they have drainage I have to dump the dish or it runs on the floor. If it runs on the floor I have to pull out the cleaning and polishing gear or my hardwood floors would be ruined.
My plants are in every room except for only one in the Dining room. I have about 200 houseplants, succulents. 40 tropical plants that I try to keep just barely alive from Nov - May. It is just to much work.
If I do not have drainage holes and soil that does not have a lot of drainage I can give them a sip of water once every two months and everybody is happy until they go out side where mother nature can care for them and give them the liquid gold they desire.
