I only have one gymno, gymnocalycium monvillei, and this one will not open the buds till it really gets full sun, otherwise it will wait and wait, till it aborts.

I had them outside but the on and off weather changes force me to bring them in. Past two days they've been out, the green one opened but not purple I don't understand why not? I hope next year they re bloom earlier when it's constantly warm.

I noticed if it rained the buds rotted on purple one it used to have 10 buds these only grew because I kept the cactus dry.
