So I gave moisture to the plant the next few days when I placed it outdoors..it continues to stay alive looking:

Starting Oct 16, I deliberately did not add water, I want to allow the plant to naturally dry out.
Oct 16 at 8:55 am - outer leaves starts to go dry and curl in

Oct 16 at 6:30 pm - more curling in, middle part a bit partly green, must be using up leftover water in the clay rocks
